Not your Phone

Not your phone depicts the relationship between the smartphone and prayer in present times. Following the witness report of a young woman’s hunt to get her stolen smartphone back, an intimate inquiry into today’s digital communication infrastructure and its omniscient position in today’s society unfolds. An uncanny moment occurs when images and videos of another person appear in her cloud-mirrored photo stream using her stolen device.
